Fall has arrived at Douglas High School and the views are spectacular.

The National Honor Society

Please plan to join us for the C. W. Holmes Chapter of the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony that will be held on Monday the 20th of October at 7:00 in the auditorium.  This is always a poignant night and one in which we celebrate the achievements of our inductees. This year we will induct 14 new members to the Chapter and they will be joining the 10 existing members.  The Douglas High School National Honor Society is under the direction of Mr. Babola and he is supported by a Faculty Council of Mrs. Gaskell, Mrs. Costa, Ms. Braney, Mrs. Fitzpatrick and Mrs. Cote.  Congratulations to our present members and to our soon to be newly inducted members. We hope to see your there.

Before we all know it, the snow will begin falling and winter will be here.  However, as we emerge from our winter spent indoors our spring season will be welcomed by the opportunity to begin play on the new athletic facilities.  So here is what we all are excitingly looking forward to, the chance to get on the new track, field space and softball field.  In case you are wondering what these spaces look like here are some pictures in advance of the impending snow cover.  As you can see these are wonderful new athletic facilities for our teams to use.
We thank the community for the support of this project and we know it will bring great excitement to the school and town.
