Veteran's Day Assembly
On Monday the 10th DHS will pay tribute to America's Veterans with a special assembly that honors their service to the nation.
The program is under the direction of Seniors Nick Daly and Rob Rhody with support from their mentor Mrs. Fitzpatrick.  During the assembly the students at DHS will be presented with detailed information on all branches of military service, musical tributes, original poems and historical background on the day in which we honor all service men and women. We will have the honor of William Vicini from D.A.V. who will address the students and staff about military service.

Girls Soccer
The Girls soccer program has won its first two MIAA Tournament games with a 3-1 victory over Uxbridge and a 5-2 victory over Parker Charter.  They will play league rival Sutton High School on Saturday the 8th at 5:00 PM at Lunenburg High School.  We wish the team good luck in what will prove to be real battle for both teams.  We hope you will join us at the game and please be advised there is an admission charge at this tournament game.

Boys Soccer
The Boys Soccer team is also enjoying early success in the MIAA Tournament winning two big games.  They first defeated Leicester High School 1-0 with a goal from Zach Ells. They then went on to defeat the #1 seed in the tournament, Bartlett High School by an identical 1-0 score with the goal being scored by Mitch Thackaberry with just 2 seconds left in the second overtime stanza.  They now move on to play Oakmont High School on Sunday the 9th at 6:00 PM also at Lunenburg High School.
