Important Reminder:
As we close out third quarter; it is important that the members of our Senior Class meet all obligations required for graduation. Please confirm with Mrs. Fitzpatrick that you have completed all of your community service obligations as well as the payment of your class dues as soon as possible. If a student or a parent has a concern for the status of their senior relative to these obligations they can contact Mrs. Fitzpatrick or me by email.
Remember that you must complete these obligations in order to participate in all Senior Week activities. Also that these obligations are linked to graduation requirements.

Stanley Koplik Awards
Fifteen seniors were awarded the Koplik Certificate of Mastery with Distinction this week at DHS. This certificate is a non-need-based tuition waiver for Massachusetts public colleges and universities that recognizes outstanding achievement by our students in the fields of mathematics, science, arts and humanities. Students initially qualify for the Koplik Certificate of Mastery with Distinction by scoring in the "Advanced" area of at least one Grade 10 MCAS test subject, and "Proficient" on the remaining sections of the Grade 10 MCAS. Students must also fulfill additional requirements that include scoring a "3" or higher on two or more Advanced Placement exams, receiving a qualifying score on two or more SAT Subject Tests, or a combination of the two.
The following seniors received the award: Matthew Blanc, Alison Carroll, Alexandra Corso, Ryan Ellis, Micalea Goldenberg, Derek Guertin, Shannon Harney, Kristina King, Margaret Landry, Matthew LaTour, Austin Lemire, Virginia Maguire, Angela Pignatiello, Kaitlyn Reber, and Heather Welch.
