DHS Cheerleaders
****************************************
The winter season brings the start of our cheerleading season as well. The program is under the leadership of Ms. Urch and Mrs. Socha.  They will perform at all home basketball games this season and then move on to the Cheering Tournament season.  They have continued to bring additional excitement to the basketball games and do a great job of entertaining and generating excitement with our fan base.

Youth Cheer Camp
The Cheer program hosted its youth cheer camp during the Holiday break and the campers performed at halftime during last Friday nights home game versus Oxford.  The kids did a great job and the crowd loved them.

DHS Pep Band
A highlight to the Winter Season is the performance of our Pep Band as they play at home basketball games. The group is under the direction of Mr. Rheaume and they contribute to the atmosphere of our hoop games. They are a crowd favorite and certainly add to the excitement of the evening. The pep band includes Nick Daly, Patrick Sullivan, Shannon Walthall, Ryan Smith and Sam Masoud and Abby Sullivan.

Freshman Return Day
The cold weather didn't stop eight of last year’s seniors from coming for College Freshman Return Day!  We are so thankful for Randy Guertin, Brian Hasemann, Luke Daly, Nolan Karsok, Jess Picard, Jolane Thibault, Ryan Walker and Suzie Pignatello who were able to share their experiences with this year’s seniors and juniors about information from their first semester away from DHS and at college.  Topics ranged from the advantages of having taken AP courses to adjusting to living with roommates.  Hopefully, the information they shared will help our seniors and juniors with all their upcoming decisions and experiences.
